Use this template for your profiles (it looks more intimidating than it actually is...):
Name: Personality (give a basic overview if you like and if you use a Nature or Demeanour other than the sample ones, write a paragraph explaining it) -Nature: (Their true selves) -Demeanour: (How your character is perceived by others) -Concept: (What your character does) -Backgrounds: (What background your character has-make it believable) Clan: (Use only those listed, later updates will introduce more clans) Generation: (Nothing below 8th >.>) Sire: (Optional, if you want to be sired by an existing character ask their permission first) Appearance: (Paragraph should do, general clothing the character wears. Please keep in mind that pink hair or whatever would only really be on say, a punk Brujah or a Malkavian) Disciplines Levels: Should start at 1 each Derangement(s): (Only have to start with at least one if you're a Malk or Malk Antitribu) Merits/Flaws: (This uses a points system; 15 points can be spent on merits which give your character an advantage. In contrast, you can gain a certain number of points of a max of 7 extra points to spend on merits by purchasing flaws) Rituals Known: Blood Bond(s): (Again, optional. Requires permission of other character's owner first) Equipment/Items/Weapons: (Be realistic in this area) History: (Paragraph required)

Recommended method of filling out the character sheet.
Whoo, lots of information to take in huh? Here's some friendly advice that you can ignore entirely.
Start by reading the rules. Stupid I know, but it's a good place to start. Then go to the Sects. Be aware though, that the Sabbat is hard to RP as. You have no humanity in the Sabbat and this can be tricky to work with. I recommend the Camarilla to start with. After all, that's where the majority of the vampires are at anyway.
Clans next, go through and find a clan that you'd find most fun to RP as. Don't just base this off the Disciplines though. Remember, if you make a Brujah but try and make him a cold and disciplined warrior you're basically ignoring the entire point of RPing a Brujah simply because they're devils in close combat. Choose a Clan you can RP as well. If you're a carefree sorta person, go with the Ravnos. If you're passionate about lots of things, Brujah for you. Go with what's most suited to you, not what has the coolest powers.
Next it's just go through the character sheet. Take advice from the Clan descriptions about Personality traits and especially appearance. If anyone tries to use a beautiful Nosferatu they'll just get ridiculed. I'd make a new board just to ridicule them >.<. Next you go through the rest of the template and do a few lines and a pargraph here and there and you're done!
Hope that helps, any questions ask a member of staff.
