Name: Andrei Tilea
Personality: As a Tzimisce Andrei is a predictably inhuman creature. Before the embrace he wasn’t too different to what it made him though. He’s cold, calculating and it shows. He never really had morals to begin with aside from a philosophical and theoretical understanding of them thanks to his harsh and frankly evil upbringing. This makes it easier for him to judge a situation on facts alone. The personality he shows to others is one of a dark monster, with no value on the lives of humans. His Ghouls garner more respect from him though, but he still regards them as servants and little else. That isn’t to say he’s excessively cruel (although he can be if he wants) all the time as he knows that simply leads to backlashes against him. Therein lies his nature as a manipulator; although monstrous he exudes a certain charm and something akin to trustworthiness: No one would suspect he’s anything more than an inhuman Intellectual and only a few have realised just how much he’s in control of behind the scenes. A psychopathic Machiavellian, he spins his web of lies and deceit from the shadows while showing the “public” he’s a monstrous scientist-historian.
-Nature: Manipulator
-Demeanour: Monster
-Concept: Dilettante, Intellectual
-Backgrounds: Retainers Sabbat (5), Resources (5 I have 100+ posts, I get another dot in it >.>)
Clan: Tzimisce
Generation: 9
Sire: Florin Cuza
Appearance: Andrei stands at slightly shorter than average 5ft7 with an average build of an ectomorph in his mid 30s. His face is long with defined cheekbones and a slightly crooked long nose set above a cruel looking and thin mouth. His face, thanks to malleable visage, is strangely parallel and has no differences on either side of it and as such, is somewhat unsettling to look upon. He has managed to grow strong but short claws on the tips of his fingers, replacing his fingernails, giving him an even more unusual look. His ears have also been changed and are now pointed and his hair is long and combed back, the dark brown, slightly curly locks falling down to the centre of his back. The most inhuman part of him are his eyes however, which are spheres of black decorated with a red ring on each that was once a grey-blue iris.

History: Andrei was born into an ailing line of noble blood in Romania. An only child and on top of that, the only one capable of reviving their fortunes the Tilea family worked their hardest to forge him into an intelligent, but above all ruthless man who could and would do what it took to ensure his line lived on in the splendour to which they were accustomed to. From an early age he was given lessons in Greek, Latin, English and of course, his native tongue as well as lessons in philosophy, science, theology and history. He was also given a number of fencing lessons but never truly mastered the art. Partly out of lack of interest and partly out of the knowledge his body simply wasn’t up to the task. Anyway, he could hardly use a sword to win renown and money. Therefore, he put the majority of his efforts into becoming a charming master of academia. He excelled in most of his subjects and was fascinated by the human body, learning a great deal of anatomy and physiology as a hobby.
Unfortunately, disaster struck. While conducting an experiment on a peasant from a neighbouring village Andrei left behind a piece of evidence that would lead the authorities back to the mansion he lived in. The massive investigation that was underway to find the thirtysomething missing people forced itself into his home, causing the young man to be most distressed. They were getting very close to finding a few old “experiments” in the cellars and so, the ancient home, already violated by innumerable intruders forcing themselves upon it, had to be put down. As Andrei boarded a plan to New York, the house became an inferno, incinerating more than half the investigation team and what they would later identify as the young Tilea’s body too.
Things looked bleak for the young noble once he arrived in the utterly alien city. Here, he had only a small apartment that he’d set up in case of emergency a few years earlier and he’d only managed to gather a few books from his ancestral estate before he had to destroy it. On top of all this bad fortune his only remaining relative, his distant uncle Florin Cuza, was out of reach and contact. The old man never replied to any of the letters Andrei sent him inviting him to come and stay. The only reason Andrei ever chose to go to NY, aside from the fact few people would believe he’d travel to such a distant and despicable city (he disliked it, finding it vulgar) was that Florin was there. However, the man was nowhere to be found which left Andrei in serious trouble. He quickly set about finding a job and more importantly, befriending a man high up in a large corporation. Within a few months he’d managed to connive his way into a respectable amount of money again and soon enough he acquired a mansion near the city.
The body count soon rose again, to more than double that of his experiments in Romania. The homeless here were easy prey and the police force was incompetent. There were no vigilante mobs or superstitious surfs believing he was a monster or a vampire or some other fantasy creature and assaulting his home. The corruption of the police force was so high that he even managed to siphon money from them without their knowing. The levels of crime here too were appalling, although they did mask Andrei’s movements and actions very well. There was one who saw through him though as he rose to the top of the city. Although he was not a member of the mob or a government official, he was non other than Uncle Florin. Whilst in the middle of an experiment to investigate how many blood vessels could be rerouted before death, Andrei was interrupted by a howling all around his home and then a loud crashing sound of glass shattering from one of the rooms upstairs. Leaving the wreck of a human on the table he made his way into a secret passageway that led him upstairs. He looked through a hole in the wall to find his house had indeed been invaded, by creatures that he knew were not of this world.
There were five of them all in all. One had a face like a cats, one’s face was so horrific that it almost caused Andrei to vomit, the third’s was strangely beautiful and the fourth was almost human. The fifth was the most amazing to look upon however. He had green skin, with a skull that rose up by at least a foot above what human skulls should be, with strange but small crests set upon his head like a crown. He wore a magnificent deep red suit, with black markings all over it and his eyes were pits of yellow. Andrei believed he’d gone mad but was incensed at the same time as being petrified. They had dared to enter his domain; they had dared to invade his house. He would make them pay. Moving swiftly through the hidden passages he kept his eyes on the group as they split up, targeting the horrifically ugly one first.
The monster entered the kitchen and began to search around. It looked over the microwave and cupboards until it passed close to the wall Andrei was behind. The noble snapped a rotten piece of wood from a piece of the infrastructure and rammed it through the thin plaster, impaling the monster in the heart. He left it there and moved around to the next room, discovering the cat faced one in the living room. It was sniffing its way around, as if it were following his scent. Unfortunately for it, Andrei had purchased a number of weapons over the years, mostly antique swords and similar weapons. One of which was just on the wall next to the hidden door he exited. Taking the blade he speared the next beast through the heart from behind, turning the corpse around to get a better look at its face. There were indeed whiskers protruding from its nose. The evening was going to get even stranger however.
Next he ascended the spiralling staircase and found the more human ones looking around in his bedroom. He crept in and smashed the most human one over the head with an ornamental vase he’d picked up from an auction recently, only to look up and find the beautiful monster standing directly in front of him. It was impossible, how could it have crossed the room so quickly? The creature kicked him out of the room and onto the landing as the other monster stood, rubbing its head and hissing viciously. The pair moved forward with clear killing intent and slammed him into the banisters, almost throwing him through them and down to the hall below. They pushed him and held him back from falling all the way over but stopped short of actually dangling his body. Andrei felt helpless, but with an incredible rage building inside him. He would kill these bastards if it was the last thing he did. He kicked his legs and managed to free them from the iron grip of the beasts, knocking the faster one down over the banisters. It hit the floor with a sickening crunch, but instantly began to get up. Andrei meanwhile was hanging for dear life to the edge of the hall, as the other monster lifted its foot to stamp him down.
Before the boot fell, the Tilea grabbed a broken banister, let go and dropped directly on to the monster below. It was still in the process of rising so it’s back was a clear shot for Andrei as he plunged his makeshift weapon into it’s back. The body cushioned the fall, not by much though and after impaling the beast Andrei bounced off it and on to the hard marble floor. The room swam with colour and span around him as he tried to get his bearings. He was almost certainly concussed as he heard the other monster distantly roar and begin to run towards the stairs, coming after him. With a great effort of will he dragged himself to his feet and began to stumble away towards the nearest room, which happened to be the games room. There was a loud thud followed by the clomping of boots as the second to last monster jumped the last stairs and charged after him. The room began to get darker, but Andrei knew it wasn’t him losing consciousness; the symptoms were different to this. It was as if the lights were simply dimming. A pair of hands gripped him roughly by the shoulders and threw him across the room onto the snooker table on the far side. The felt covering offered little cushioning from the blow of landing and Andrei could feel that this time he really was losing consciousness. How could someone throw another so far? He felt around, looking for a weapon and found only the snooker balls which he promptly clubbed the monster around the head with. As it reeled and cried out in pain Andrei looked around once again, this time finding a pool cue. He screamed out in effort and smashed it across the back of the monsters skull, hoping to knock it down this time.
The result wasn’t quite what he’d hoped for. Although it went down, it almost instantly stood up again, took the pool cue from him and snapped it over his knee. One of the halves soon found itself buried in Andrei’s guts while the other clattered to the floor. The creature hissed again and clamped its jaws over his neck, biting its way into his veins and drinking his blood. Andrei’s hands grabbed another pair of snooker balls and this time both came smashing into each side of the vampire’s skull, causing it to leave its victim and hold its head, screaming in pain and rage. Andrei then picked up the remaining pool cue and thrust it deep into the beasts’ breast, killing it on the spot. There was still one left and Andrei knew he was now no match for it. Making his way out of the games room he staggered down towards the cellar where to his great displeasure he found the last one, feasting on the blood of Andrei’s own victim. It looked up and grinned before saying “Well done my dear nephew. You’ve certainly grown and lived up to the Tilea name.”
Andrei promptly collapsed and when he came to, he found his wounds were healed and the other vampires were all lying along the floor in a row, each with their respective pieces of wood, steel or otherwise still in their hearts. Florin, or the vampire who claimed to be his uncle then explained to Andrei what he’d done and what his new existence meant as an esteemed member of clan Tzimisce. He then told the Tilea to drain each vampire of all their blood, which he promptly did. Consuming their vitae was euphoric, to all vampires the first blood they draw is the best and Andrei tasted of five other vampires. Florin, caring for the welfare of his new Childe, quickly utilised Soul Decoration to disguise the tell-tale signs of Diablerie in Andrei. The Fledgling then acted almost as a ward for Florin for a number of years before being released to form his own pack and was sent to join the effort to take over London. . He now has two havens, an apartment on the outskirts of London and his old mansion near NY. Both manses have ghouls and his own pack-members constantly being flown between each city as he reports to the Arch-Bishop of NY. He acts as his pack’s priest and leader and intends to learn Koldunic Sorcery from Florin once he has grown and gained more experience.
His pack includes one Lasombra, three Gangrel Antitribu, A Malkavian Antitribu, two assamite antitribu, a tremere antitribu and five Pander. Andrei is the leader, with the Lasombra, Tremere and Malk Antitiribu as advisors while the Gangrel are his bodyguards and combat experts and the Pander the basic footsoldiers. The two assamite antitribu are, unsurprisingly, his assassins. This is the basic structure of the pack but all will die for one another. At least, that is until Andrei learns how to break his Blood Bonds to them. One of his assamites have a friend in the Clan Assamite too. This has given rise to an interesting relationship between Andrei, being the leader, confidant and commander of the Assamite Antitribu and the Assamite himself. The Assassin wished to learn Obtenebration and for a fee of information, blood and other things including occult items. The Assassin also does the occasional assassination for the Tzimisce and his pack whenever two Assamite Antitribu aren't enough to do the job. Overall, it's a mutually beneficial arrangement although Andrei desires to draw the Assamite into his fold; a new assassin in the pack would be very helpful indeed...
